Microbreweries, brew pubs and the like have exploded with the growth in the craft beer market and all things craft brewing. Minnesota, home to the most cooperatives in the nation and second in the nation for live theater, is an arts and culture destination for enthusiasts of food and beer alike. Andrew Zimmern, of the Travel Channel’s Bizarre Foods also has a food truck here and enjoys the local eats and drinks of the Minneapolis area. Brewpubs and breweries are an integral part of this intermingling of art, music, theater and culture in our area. Many of our bars, clubs, pubs and diners carry local brews from Twin Cities breweries, whom you can visit on our tour.
The brewmasters and brewery enthusiasts in the area have really cultivated a community of creative indulgence.
